I clearly have not blogged in quite a while, but I am back! I am doing a dherbs full body detox, which I try to do at least once a year, and it requires the detox-er to maintain a fully raw diet. Today for lunch I decided to make a smoothie. I like to juice more than I like to make smoothies, but I had some fruit that was ready to go bad and figured a smoothie would make the most of it. And sure enough, my lunch is delicious!!!
Green Fruit and Vegetable Smoothie:
1 Red delicious apple
4 Strawberries
1/2 C. Organic baby carrots
Handfull or two spinach
3 T. flax meal
1/2 C. almond milk
Chop fruit and veggies and add all the ingredients into a blender. Blend until smooth and enjoy!
